Many capable people have clear goals and strong intentions, yet still struggle to make or sustain meaningful progress.
I help people become the designers of their personal operating systems by studying the patterns that shape their lives.

How do we work together?
System Designing
1-to-1 sessions
- Virtual sessions, with in-person sessions considered where physical observation may be useful.
- The session is personalised around what you want to achieve. We will collaboratively decide what we explore and experiment.
- Depending on your needs and preferences, a session may draw on one or more approaches, such as coaching, co-scheduling, brainstorming, or mentoring.
Skill Building
Group workshops
- Facilitated workshop for learning and applying selected concepts in a group setting.
- Look out for upcoming workshops. Alternatively, you can request one based on your needs and the suitability of the topic.
- Topics may include self-driven project planning, time management, and critical thinking. Sessions include hands-on practice and discussions.
What is a personal operating system?

Your personal operating system consists of these interconnected factors. Together, they influence the recurring patterns you see in your habits, responses, and decision-making.
Looking at these factors as a whole can reveal insights that may not be visible when each one is considered separately.
The goal is a system that you can adapt as your circumstances, responsibilities, and priorities change.

I realized that to reach my goals, I needed a way to work with my system, not against it.
Why a systems approach?
Hi, I’m Dr. Elena Wong, the founder of Versilient.
My career has centered on understanding how people function within complex systems. Through research, system design, mentorship and coaching, I have continued exploring the same question:
“What helps people navigate complexity to sustain meaningful progress while staying human?”
About me:
- PhD specialising in Human-Centred Systems Design
- Completed ICF-accredited coach training
- Creator of the Co-Scheduling developmental programme
- Additional perspective informed by engineering, scientific research, and systems design

In game analogy, Coaching is like a stats board to figure your next step, Co-Scheduling is about customizing your tools and skills to reduce friction, and Personal Operating System Design is meant to configure the whole experience for you.
When your current way of operating may no longer fit?
You know what needs to be done, but remain stuck.
You make progress, but struggle to sustain it.
You feel pulled between competing responsibilities.
You know rest is important, but find it difficult.
You feel guilty when you aren’t being productive.
A strategy works for some time, then stops fitting.
When that happens, it may be worth examining and adapting your system.

Sometimes the problem is not a lack of discipline, motivation, or time management. The way you operate may simply no longer fit the realities and constraints you’re moving towards.
How do we adapt your system?
PHASE

Observe
Increase awareness of facts, assumptions, and beliefs surrounding recurring patterns.
PHASE

Explore
With open-mindedness and curiosity, identify factors that may be influencing your progress.
PHASE

Experiment
Test strategies in practice and learn what works, what creates resistance, and what may fit more naturally into your current life.

“Versilient’s methodology is very structured and systematic. It is a great way to gain insight into the challenges we face with how we manage our attention and build better habits to be more effective. In today’s fast-paced world of work where we often feel overworked and burnt out, learning how to manage our time and attention helps us be happier and more productive both at work and with our personal time. Their recommendations are also research-backed, yet personalized, with regular feedback and review. It is like personal tuition or coaching for increasing our attentional effectiveness.”

What might we work on?
Sustainable Ways of Working
Explore how habits, routines and responsibilities affect your time, energy and attention, and experiment with approaches that fit your lifestyle and workload.
Conditions-Goal Alignment
Explore how environment, energy, emotion and attention influence behaviour, and what conditions may make meaningful progress easier to sustain.
Career Direction & Progression
Explore working patterns, assumptions, priorities, values, identity, and your environment to understand what may be shaping your career decisions or growth.
Self-directed Work Development
Explore your tendencies, strengths and interests alongside project structure, workflow, planning, implementation and uncertainty.
Is this for you?
You have a goal, but meaningful progress is difficult to make or sustain. This may look like:
Progress is achieved,
but not sustained.
You have made initial progress but struggle to sustain results or maintain habits.
Consistent effort,
but progress plateaus.
You have taken actions and made progress, but now further progress is difficult.
Strong intention, but limited or no progress.
You genuinely intend to move forward but disruption, inertia or uncertainty gets in the way.
If this describes you, we may work well together. I often work with researchers, entrepreneurs, managers, tertiary students and technical professionals.
What’s next?
I’m curious to talk.
Bring one recurring pattern. We’ll explore what may be influencing it and whether this conversation feels useful for you at no charge.
I’m open to exploring.
